While playing on your Palworld server, problems might arise that require immediate attention. Common issues include using exploits to get syndicate bosses and unlimited golden keys, among other cheats. This can ruin the experience for some, especially servers that enable PvP combat. Resolving this can be challenging, as the only way is to reset the player data on your Palworld server. This involves locating the user’s ID, and then digging through the game files to delete accordingly. The whole process might be frustrating or confusing, which is amplified if you’re a newcomer to the scene. Due to this, we’ve created this Apex Hosting guide to show you how to reset the player data on your Palworld server.
Player Data in Palworld
All the character’s progress is stored in a save file, including their items, equipment, levels, technology, and party Pals. With this in mind, deleting the Palworld player data file is typically used in extreme situations. All the progression cannot be recovered, unless you use internal server backups from the panel. Proceed to review the following subsections with caution and care, as you want to avoid deleting important files.
Finding Player IDs in Your Palworld Server
The first step towards resetting the player data is becoming an admin, as you must locate the user’s ID. This is achieved by setting an administrator password in your panel, then running the /AdminPassword command in-game with it – review this guide for more information. After doing this, follow the instructions below to learn how to find the player ID in Palworld.
- Join your Palworld server, then become an admin.
- Afterward, type and enter the
/ShowPlayers
command. - Make note of the
PlayerUID
values, which is after the username. - Convert this to hexadecimal by doing it here, then save the new values for later.

Palworld Server Management
Resetting player data in Palworld isn’t something an owner wants to do most of the time, but it can be needed to resolve issues. This tends to be the last resort for them, as it’s guaranteed to work – only with the major side effect being the character’s progress is permanently deleted. In cases where you deleted the wrong save file, consider retrieving a backup in the server panel. This will reinstate all lost progress! However, it will revert back to a previous state of the server. If you’re unfamiliar with this process, inquire about it with our 24/7 Support Team for assistance.
