My son had been playing Minecraft for a few months when he asked me to set up a server. I was not excited about giving out our forward facing IP. After some research I found the YouTuber Nicsgames his videos are a fantastic source of info for a dad who doesn’t want to get his guidance form a child, he led me to Apex and I was very happy with the price and tutorials available to get us up and running our own server. As with any new technology adventure we have had a few hiccups along the way, the tech support department is amazing no question is silly. I have been using Apex for almost a year, and so far, it has been nothing but good experiences. They are fairly fast to respond to issues revolving services and will help you in figuring out the basics, like what kind of server runs best with plugins. When you submit a ticket for aid, they usually respond within 48 hours. I have never had to wait longer than a day to get a response though. The controls for using the server is actually very easy. You can access your files through the FTP area and edit your stuff through there, and you can download filezilla to get large amounts of files into the FTP area. Very easy to use, and fast active staff makes APEX a really great hosting site.

I think people should use apex as they are quite cheap compared to others but there servers are also better than others and can hold a lot more players I have not had any major issues with apex so I think that people should choose apex.

When I first decided to purchase a dedicated server, I will admit that with the number of options available the task seemed daunting. But Apex popped up on the Technic launcher and through that partnership, I got my server for 25% off. I figured that such a deal was not something I could afford to pass up, especially if I decided that having a server was as nice as I thought it would be. It is, and Apex makes it easy to edit my server in numerous ways through easy to use FTP and other services. I’ve changed the modpack a lot, and something that would usually take anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour was done within five minutes, perfectly. The server’s always up and it never has lag issues, and I’d recommend Apex to anyone I know for those same reasons.
