Amplify your Minecraft experience with mods, adding a wide variety of new features. These include unique dimensions, custom items, special abilities, and so much more. This becomes better with modpacks, large collections of mods. One of these is called Jetpack Cat, offering you a completely new style of Minecraft. Expect tons of strange creatures, powers, quests, items, structures, and guns in this pack. You’re even able to start a family and become a leader of your town! Whether you focus on completing the main objective or go around exploring strange worlds, you have plenty of possibilities with this modpack. With all of this in mind, we’ve created this Apex Hosting guide to help you set up a Jetpack Cat Minecraft server and showcase what you can expect in-game!

Host Your Own Jetpack Cat Server

If you haven’t already purchased a Minecraft server with us, do that before following the steps below. All that’s required to set up a Jetpack Cat server is selecting it from the Game File area, then restarting with a new world. No technical knowledge is needed to complete this task!

  1. Head towards your Apex server panel, then locate the Game File area.
  2. Click on the currently selected option, then type “Jetpack Cat”.

  4. Wait for this to load, then install the modpack on your CurseForge launcher.
  5. Afterward, you can join the Jetpack Cat server!

Optifine isn’t technically required to run this modpack, but is heavily recommended by the creators – as you will miss out on features without installing it on your launcher. Learn more information about this process by visiting here. A similar idea applies to shaders, amplifying the visual experience in-game.

Jetpack Cat Modpack

It’s important to understand that Jetpack Cat isn’t your average modpack, as there is a complete story with an AI helping you along the way. The last thing you remember before finding yourself in the world is entering a portal aboard your spaceship. For context, the Bad AI had taken over Earth and conquered all its military powers. The only option left is to flee towards a new planet across the universe. Scientists said it would be safe, but they were wrong.

Upon joining the server, you can create your own character and apply traits. Continue making tweaks until you’re satisfied, then jump into the world! All players start off with an assault rifle, burgers, extra health, a sleeping bag, and other items. Consider them a starter kit to help you, as there are terrifying monsters lurking around each biome. These can even be bosses that will instantly kill you – so be cautious.

Main Quest

Jetpack Cat Quest

We encourage you to open the quests menu with your “Black Market” item. This reveals what type of progress is needed, with magical ender eyes being the primary one to focus on. Each of them can be found in certain locations around the Overworld, Nether, and other dimensions. Hover over each eye to learn more about them! Beyond this, there are side quests you’re able to complete for extra rewards. This is the main objective for the Jetpack Cat modpack.

Collecting Equipment

One of the best ways to gather materials, ammo, food, and other items is to slay hostile mobs. These entities can be found all over the place, with nighttime being the best for it. However, looting nearby chests, dungeons, or other areas in the world can also be great ways to collect equipment. Make sure to conserve ammo, as it’ll come in handy in the future. Additionally, rewards from quests or other activities can also give you items.

Making Friends

Jetpack Cat NPCs

While in villages and other structures, NPCs can become friends and not mere traders! This means you’re able to talk and interact with them, even to the point of adopting some. Just make sure to respect their wishes, desires, and moods – as if you’re too aggressive or boring, they will hate you. Once you befriend or even marry an NPC, you’re able to use them as you want. Examples include harvester, hunter, and other helpful roles to have in the Jetpack Cat modpack.

Dimensional Rifts

Rather than building portals to travel across dimensions, you can simply mine straight down until you reach a dimensional rift. All of the bedrock is replaced with hard diamonds, making it possible to break through it. We strongly encourage you to avoid adventuring off until you and others are well equipped. If you’re too weak, then all the hostile mobs will overwhelm you. Consider staying in the Overworld until you have lots of ammo, powerful guns, and useful tools.

Jetpack Cat Structures

One of the dimensions in the Jetpack Cat modpack is one that combines all of them! This means you’re able to find almost every type of block, mob, village, biome, structure, and aspect from each world type. There are many dangerous dimensions in this modpack, but with everything combined together – this is the hardest one to encounter in-game. Only travel here when you’re ready, but it’s the best place to find ender eyes due to all the structures.
