One of the toughest bosses in Minecraft is the Wither, a fierce opponent to defeat. This hostile entity shoots projectiles and has different phases while in combat. Having a few friends to help win is the best solution, but can end rather quickly. In cases where you want an even harder challenge, consider using the Cracker’s Wither Storm modpack. This has around 20 mods to amplify your gameplay experience, with the main one transforming the wither into an ultimate beast. However, there are plenty of other features too – such as new biomes, blocks, mobs, and more. Sounds fun? Host Your Own Cracker’s Wither Storm Server

If you don’t already have your own Minecraft server, purchase one with us before following the steps below. Choose from a wide variety of modpacks in our automatic installer, including Cracker’s Wither Storm!

1. Head towards your Apex server panel, then locate the Game File area.
2. Click on the currently selected option, then type “Crackers Wither Storm”.
   
3. Once found, press it and continue to confirm the changes in the prompts.
   
4. Wait for this to load, then install the modpack on your CurseForge launcher.
5. Afterward, you can join the Cracker’s Wither Storm server!

Cracker’s Wither Storm Modpack

One of the core features in the Cracker’s Wither Storm modpack for Minecraft is its vanilla improvements, meaning that the gameplay will still be normal – for the most part. This is perfect for those who don’t want crazy mods installed that completely change Minecraft. The only feature that isn’t too vanilla-friendly is the main boss, the Wither Storm. This absolute behemoth will destroy your world and all nearby players unless you’re well-equipped and prepared. Vanilla+ Biomes

Almost all the biomes are enhanced with new features, with some merging to create wonderful landscapes. These range from swampy oases with vegetation to dead mountains void of life. There are others, but you must search far and wide to discover them in your Minecraft server. Whether you prefer flatlands or hills, there’s something for everyone in this modpack.

Sickened Mobs

There are new mob types with the Cracker’s Wither Storm modpack, which are known as sickened. These creatures aren’t entirely different from their vanilla counterparts, but have key defining characteristics. This includes piercing purple eyes, corrupted textures, and purple hues. Additionally, passive mobs can also become sickened and show off these features too.

Random Structures

While exploring this new world in Minecraft, you’ll encounter randomly generated structures. These include shacks, huts, mage towers, and even reinforced villages. You might even find a miner’s rest area underground with barrels full of loot! Wither Storm Platform

One structure will have a Wither Storm Platform, required to initiate the big fight against the boss. This is due to its creation, requiring a command block and soul sand. In other words, players cannot just create this evolved entity with the vanilla method. Seek these structures out in your Minecraft server, then place wither skulls as normal with one on the command block – then begin fighting.

Wither Phases

The first phase of the Wither Storm is just like a normal Wither, but with added features. One major aspect is the command block in its center body, possibly giving the creature effects – such as increased regeneration. There are extra attacks too, with some packing a punch against all players. Make sure to grab friends and be well-equipped, because there’s no turning back now.

Nearing close to its death, the Wither will suddenly transform into its ultimate phase…the Wither Storm. Purple-pinkish light will rain down on the land, picking up blocks, mobs, and players to the sky. You’re tasked with knocking out its eyes and deflecting projectiles towards it. However, there are more phases to this beast – so be cautious while fighting. The surroundings will not look the same after the fight, as everything will be ruined.

Phlegm Block & Custom Items

If you happen to die while attacking the Wither Storm, a Phlegm block will appear – containing all your valuables. Make sure to grab them before anything else happens, as this won’t happen again if you die once more. Besides this block, there are extra features with it such as corpses and infested / sickened material. You’re able to collect these if you want, which can be used for decorations!

There are tons of custom items to craft, collect, and use with the Cracker’s Wither Storm modpack for Minecraft. These include sickened mob drops, wither support beacons, and even rare swords made of unique material. Additionally, there are two new types of TNT that can absolutely nuke your world in-game. Make sure to avoid ever igniting it, unless you’re far away from bases.
