What is C2ME? It’s a Fabric mod for Minecraft known as Concurrent Chunk Management Engine, which increases performance in-game by improving chunk generation, I/O, and loading. The mod can be installed on your Minecraft server and client to achieve that.

How to Install C2ME in Minecraft
Navigate to C2ME on CurseForge and download the mod. Make sure it’s for the correct game version you want. According to the developer(s), it is recommended to use Lithium and ScalableLux alongside the mod.
Server Installation

Otherwise, install it manually with these steps:
- Head towards your Apex Server Panel and stop the server.
- Go to File Management > FTP File Access on the left.
- Navigate to the
modsdirectory, then drag + drop the mod file inside. - Restart the server to begin loading the mod.
Client Installation
If you haven’t already, install Fabric on your Minecraft launcher to run the mod. Alternatively, you can install a third-party launcher such as CurseForge.
Default Launcher
Follow these instructions if you use the default launcher for Minecraft.
- Make sure Fabric is installed.
- Open the Minecraft Launcher → Installations tab.
- Click the folder icon next to your Fabric profile.
- Open (or create) a folder named
mods. - Move the .jar file and required mods into that folder.
- Launch Minecraft with your Fabric profile.
Third-party Launcher
Follow the steps below if you use CurseForge, Modrinth, etc..
- Open your launcher and select your modpack or profile.
- Click Add More Content or Install Mods.
- Search for “Plants & Zombies”.
- Click Install – repeat this process for dependencies.
- Launch the game to start using the mod.
How to Use C2ME in Minecraft
Once the Concurrent Chunk Management Engine is loaded and running, you don’t have to do anything else! All the work is done in the background, which applies to both servers and singleplayer worlds. You can adjust the configuration file(s) for the mod, if you want. This is accessible in the main config directory.
