How to Log In With Your Social Media

Overview

With Apex, you can log into your billing area easily with one click! One of our newest functions is the ability to link your social media accounts to the website. The platforms we currently have active are Google, Facebook, and Twitter. You can link your social media to an existing account or when you are creating one you will have the ability to link it at checkout. This guide will be breaking down how you can log in using your social media accounts.

How to connect your account

Connecting an existing account

  1. In the top left of the billing area click where it says “Hello, Name!”.
  2. Select “Security Settings”
  3. Once you are on this page, towards the top you will see the options to connect your social media accounts.
  4. Simply click the social media account you want to add and follow the prompt.

 

Connecting a new account

  1. To add your social media to a new account, first go to the register page.
  2. The first thing you will see is the three buttons to sign up with Facebook, Google, or Twitter.
  3. Select whichever one you will like to use to signup and follow the prompt.

 

Unlinking account

  1. In the top left of the billing area click where it says “Hello, Name!”.
  2. Select “Security Settings”
  3. Once you are on this page, you will see a list of your linked accounts.
  4. To the right of this list, you will see “unlink”. Simply click this to unlink your social media account.

 

Common Issues

Trying to log in with social media and it says “link initiated” instead of logging you in.
This means that you have not linked a social media account to your billing account yet. Once it says link initiated, all you need to do is log in with your credentials and next time you try logging in with social media, it will work correctly.
