We’ll be showing you how to install and use the OccultCraft modpack in Minecraft to get you started on a brand-new adventure!

Server Setup

Newcomers to the hosting scene will need to purchase a server from us before setting up OccultCraft. Once you’ve bought it, follow the instructions below to begin the setup process. Keep in mind that no prior technical knowledge is required, as the modpack comes preinstalled for your convenience.

1. Head towards your Apex server panel, then locate and click the Game File area.
2. Proceed to type “OccultCraft” and select it in the options list.
   
3. Continue to click Change Version, Create New World, and Restart Now.
   
4. Wait for these changes to apply before joining with your Minecraft client.

Client Installation

Instead of manually downloading the modpack and extracting its file to your Minecraft launcher, consider using CurseForge. This application provides you with quick and easy access to thousands of modpacks, including OccultCraft. The following steps below will help you install this on your client.

1. Download the CurseForge launcher from their official website.
2. Afterward, navigate to OccultCraft and click the Install button.
   
3. If successful, you’ll be redirected to the client for the download to begin.
4. Wait for the modpack to finish installing, then click Play on the right.
   
5. If you have issues loading, consider allocating more memory.

OccultCraft Modpack

OccultCraft is a pack that comes with a large variety of powerful magic and technic mods. All of them are balanced to give you a smooth and complete experience. Although OccultCraft focuses mainly on discovering the paths of magic, it also has a side full of dangers and challenges to overcome. With incredible enemies brought in thanks to “Mutant monsters”, you will have to be careful at night. You can also create your own village and manage it from the top of your wizard tower! Getting started

OccultCraft gives you the opportunity to start your adventure as one extraordinary person. It lets you choose a race to start, so you’ll have to think carefully about what type of race you want to be. All races come with its advantages and disadvantages that will appear since you start the game. You will have 26 races to choose from, including fairies, mermaids, elves, among other interesting options. After choosing your race, you will appear in the world with 4 books that will help guide you on your adventure against all types of creatures.

Explore

You’ll find a vibrant Minecraft world on the surface with tons of new biomes to explore and a wide variety of animals to discover. With these new landscapes, you will find new and elaborate constructions. From villages and pilgrim towns that you normally find very close to each other, to cemeteries and ruins of large buildings. Explore all of these new places and get rewarded with excellent loot and unique weapons or enchantments. But be aware with these new buildings come new enemies and tramps.

Settlement

OccultCraft has a settlement “generation” system in which you could be in charge of villages and grow them to their fullest potential. You can find small ruined villages to improve or you can choose the perfect place to start creating your own civilization from the ground up. To grow your settlement you will have to deliver the necessary materials to the villagers who will gradually arrive in your small town. You will manage the responsibilities of each of them and make sure that they don’t starve and have a designated space to sleep.

Knowledge of Death

As you advance in your adventure you will have to fight against fearsome monsters. When you defeat them, a small message will announce that you have reached a Knowledge of Death level. These levels are acquired by defeating mobs and can lead you to be perceived as bad or good. Each level will allow you to assign a point between 11 traits that will increase certain characteristics. These will give you advantages when fighting, enchanting or looting.

Magic & Engineering

From the title, OccultCraft hints at the extensive knowledge of magic. With mods like “ars nouveau” or “Occultism”, you can explore the mythical passages of magic and acquire all the knowledge you need to become the best magician on your server. OccultCraft does not stop there as it also integrates some of the “create” mods. This famille of mods allow you to build intricate iron factories or simple machines to automate the felling of trees. Combine the extremes of magic and engineering and conquer the world that occultcraft has to offer.

FAQ – OccultCraft

OccultCraft is for Minecraft Forge 1.20.6, with no plans to update it.

There are 300+ mods in OccultCraft, but you can add your own too.

It requires at least 6 GB of RAM to work correctly. This may vary depending on the number of players on the server. Remember that you will have to allow Curforge to use more than 6GB of RAM for it to work.
