Overview
When hosting a Rust dedicated server, you may find yourself wanting to allow your players to access more server information. Whether you have a website, social media, or more, it will require your players to locate and visit it. Luckily, Rust servers allow you to add a URL link to the server information page in-game, so any player can access the URL that you define. Adding a website URL to a Rust server can be confusing, so we have created this Apex Hosting guide to ease you through the setup process.

server.url "[your url link]"
Once this is complete, a View Webpage
button should appear in your server window.
Clicking this will open your URL link, whether it is for a website, social media, or more!
Common Issues
The View Webpage button doesn’t appear in-game:
There are a few reasons this may occur, however it usually means the server is not properly locating the URL. Try to enter the URL link once again, then restart the server to check for changes. If issues persist, attempt the FTP instructions or vice versa.
The View Webpage button appears, but the link doesn’t work:
If this occurs, it often means there is an issue with the entered URL link. Ensure the link is typed correctly or leads to an active page. If issues still occur, enter the URL in the browser to ensure it works, then copy it afterwards once again.
