When there are so many different servers to choose from, creating a unique description can appear inviting to prospecting players. Whether you choose to add a welcome message, list a few rules, or even link to a website, this is all achievable. Changing a V Rising description is easy with Apex Hosting’s customization tab, so we have created this tutorial to help you get started.
How to Set a Server Description
- Navigate to the Apex Server Panel, then log in.
- At the top of the page, press the
Stopbutton. - In the left-hand menu, enter the
Customizationstab. - Here, find the
Server Descriptionand its accompanying text field.
- In the text field, enter the desired server description.
- Once complete, return to the main panel page and restart the server.
The server will now start up with your configured server settings. Once it is fully online, the changes can be viewed in-game!
Changes In-Game
To view the description changes, launch V RIsing and select Play from the main menu. Simply navigate to Online Play, press FInd Servers, then choose to display all servers. Simply search for your game server in the list, then select it. In the right-hand menu, it will then display the server name and the description underneath of it.
