With the release of Minecraft 26.2, Chaos Cubed, players can explore a new cave biome, play with sulfur cubes, and get sick with toxic fumes from springs or geysers. There’s also a quality-of-life enhancement for Bedrock players, which makes it easy to move to different worlds in friend groups. In this quick Apex Hosting article, we’ll showcase the Chaos Cubed 26.2 update for Minecraft 👏

Sulfur Caves, Springs, & Geysers

If you haven’t guessed by now, the overall theme in this update is sulfur! As you explore underground, you might find yourself in a sulfur cave filled with spikes hanging above. These new cave biomes add sulfur and cinnabar blocks, which can be useful in new builds. When there’s a mineshaft intersecting with sulfur caves, make sure to look for the new Bounce music disc.

Near the surface, you might find sulfur springs and geysers that have toxic gasses. Watch out, you’ll easily become nauseous if you’re not careful. If you’re feeling adventurous, then hop in a geyser to be shot high in the air when it goes off. You can create your own springs and geysers by using potent sulfur and magma blocks, plus some water.

Minecraft 26.2 Update

Sulfur Cubes

While exploring the new caves, you might discover sulfur cubes. These passive mobs will endlessly jump around, waiting for you to feed it a block. Each block will have different effects once absorbed, such as TNT or magma blocks. Get creative and experiment to see how you can make sulfur cubes go flying, bouncing, sliding, and more!

Bedrock Party Feature

If you’re on Bedrock Edition, then you can take advantage of the new parties feature! This lets you invite up to 14 friends, making it easy to move everyone between worlds. Navigate to Game Menu > Social Drawer to get started. Leave your group as open or invite only, your decision.

Embrace The Chaos

By far the most exciting feature from the Chaos Cubed update is sulfur cubes! Round them up, experiment on them, and have fun with the chaos. Otherwise, collect the various new blocks to add extra detail to your builds. On Bedrock? Invite friends to your party and easily spawn in different worlds without worrying about inviting everyone. Update Minecraft and get started today with friends!
