When it comes to some of our favorite survival games, the world is based on procedural generation. Because of this, a lot of the favorite aspects of these games are randomized, and in the pursuit of the ideal world players will share ‘seeds’ which can be used to determine what the world will feature. Because of this, the communities have taken it upon themselves to share and spread the most desirable seeds.
The List
As always, this list is in no particular order. It’s just a collection of what we believe to be the best seeds for Terraria. Most of these are based on the latest version, 1.4.
3.1.1.1595682516 – This is one of the best seeds for co-op play. There are two sword shrines right next to each other, two desert pyramids, a big dungeon, a big jungle, and a big desert. Three part corruption on both sides, This is a Large World with corruption on Classic. This is an outdated seed, working on version 1.4.1.1.
1.2.2.158411179 – This seed includes a desert crimson biome which has a cave going down with many crimson altars. It then has a lot of crimson hearts on the side which allows you to beat the brain of cthulu a few times.
263549977 – This seed is best for those trying to craft Zenith will appreciate this seed which includes an Enchanted Sword westward along with a Starfury which can be acquired by using the Gravitation Potion at 2999’ East, 266’ Underground to reach 2050’ East, 468’ Space. This is a Small World with Crimson on Classic.
2.1.2.1992507845 – This seed is a strange one with a Temple that contains a Sandstorm in a bottle and a room with Living trees. There are also some colliding rooms that look interesting. This is all to the right of when you spawn.
3.3.2.1295721258 – This seed includes a fair amount of loot. Water walking boots are in a chest in the east ocean. The rest of the seed includes an aglet, anklet of the wind, ice skates, and a lava charm all spread out near spawn. There also seems to be a Slime Staff from the blue slime you can acquire near day one. This is a Large World with crimson played on Master Mode.
3.4.1.1284007591 – This seed is a strange one which spawns you inside of a jungle. The junglei tself is extremely large, with two enchanted sword shrines to the left along with a pyramid. A dungeon sits in the snow biome, and it does weird things with the mushroom biome. This is a Large World on Journey Mode, Corruption.
Conclusion
Not that large of a list, but I did my best. Whether it be an interesting biome generation, or useful items, there’s a good collection of seeds to choose from. Just like Minecraft, Terraria seeds are version sensitive, so be sure to not use the seed you’ve chosen on the wrong version.
