Been a hot minute since I’ve last spoken to you all, I know. This week, you can expect the usual. The Caves and Cliffs update Part 2 brings us snapshot 21w43a, and that has us one step closer to the ever so elusive update.
In this update, there are many changes. Priority Updates video setting has been renamed to Chunk Builder, the amount of flooded caves near rivers and ocean coastlines has been reduced, Aquifer water levels change less often, Lava aquifers are less common, and Dripleaf is now restricted as to where it can be placed. The upgrading of old worlds has also been worked on, with lots of fixes and adjustments for where the Bedrock layer will be. This along with some technical changes and bug fixes concludes the snapshot.

ARK
The developers of ARK wished everyone a happy Halloween! Their 24-hour charity stream for ExtraLife is also coming soon. On November 6th, 10AM Pacific, they’ll be kicking off the seventh iteration of the stream on twitch.tv/survivetheark from their Seattle headquarters. For 24 hours, they’ll tease viewers with ARK info, play games, and most importantly raise money for kids in need.
The developers (and me too!) implore you to stop by and stand a chance of winning some amazing giveaways from spencers like a Blue microphone or special limited edition ARK merchandise.
