Wow, would you look at that! Welcome to the 50th installation of our weekly news blog! To be honest with you, it’s a miracle we even made it this far, but I’m happy to say that we have no plans of stopping, and we will consistently provide you with the latest and greatest here to come! Now, back to the good stuff.
Mojang releases snapshot 21w20a which I feel has quite a presence with the name alone. Geodes are now even rarer, despite the fact they’ve been reduced in spawn rate for the last three snapshots. Axolotls now play dead in the water, which is just adorable. Besides that, we get a technical change along with a whole heap of dozens of bug fixes. You can read the full extensive snapshot here.
You already know what it is, the 50th time over.
Aaron – Aaron has acquired a new iPhone 12 Pro Max. Dope.
Dalton – Dalton is moving over from the support section to the content creation section of Apex, so expect some nice content there!
Daniel – Daniel has graduated with his AA and is now transferring to a university to get his bachelor’s. Pretty impressive!
– We are trying out a new LiveChat button implementation on the site, this will allow users to drag it between corners hopefully resolving the issue of it covering elements. Please report any possible issues with it to Bugs/Issues board.
We have quite the video today! A youtuber by the name of Wigit has created over one thousand structures in a 1:1 scale model of Seattle! The absolutely spectacular build looks and feels like the true cityscape, and I can do nothing but commend them on all of their hard work. Wigit and the Build It 1:1 Crew did a heck of a job, explaining that this was the most progress they’ve ever been able to accomplish in a month, and that it was their largest collaborative project ever, so applause to them!
You can check out the full video here of their creation on Wigit’s youtube channel here.
Welp, that’s the 50th week! I am really grateful for all of you loyal readers that tune in every week to read my ramblings. For the Minecraft News, Mojang continues to provide awesome weekly content in the form of bug fixes and all that good stuff. The Apex Team is doing good as ever, and although I didn’t get many updates I’m glad to have reported on it. The Built It 1:1 Crew also did a great job with Seattle, so grats! I hope you discovered something nice, and to another fifty weeks!
