Hello everyone, and welcome to the Apex Hosting weekly news blog! It’s that time of the week again. The time when I go off on random tangents when I should be overviewing the news to the best of my ability. Anyway, let’s begin with some Minecraft news.
Minecraft 1.19.4 Pre-Release drops with a bang! Actually, it’s more like a soft, uneventful landing, but I’m trying to make it exciting. This update includes some small quality-of-life improvements, such as the enchantment glint being removed from potions entirely! This is an unexpected but welcome change. You will now be able to discern which potion is which more easily. The world creation menu has also been updated with a new UI and some options. Some technical changes have been made, which shouldn’t affect the overwhelming majority of us. These changes along with preparation for 1.20 concludes the update!
It’s about that time.
Ash – Ash is just doing. I asked how he is doing and he didn’t say he was doing well or bad. Just doing.
Cameron – Cameron is displeased with the current server issues occurring with Destiny 2. Guess that update is pretty popular!
Daniel – Daniel picked up a port of an old Digimon World game and has been having tons of fun with it.
Ashley – Ashley is still fighting the remnant of a cold, but is doing well today.
Carl – Carl managed to be successful at getting stuff done and is thinking that later he’ll do some more music production.
This game has finally dropped! I know, it has been a long time in the making, but Sons Of The Forest has finally been released and everyone is very excited! In the sea of forgettable albeit enjoyable survival games comes this smashing hit of a horror mess that has you rummaging through, well, a forest.
Sons of The Forest has you being sent to find a missing billionaire on a remote island. You find yourself in a cannibal-infested hellscape. Craft, build, and struggle to survive, alone or with friends, in this terrifying new open-world survival horror simulator. This game allows you to experience complete freedom to tackle the world how you want. Decide what to do, where to go, and how best to survive. No NPC barking orders at you or unwanted missions. You choose your path and you play how you want.
That’s the week! Unfortunately, I have no news on 1.20. No snapshots, and no word from Mojang. In any case, I’m sure there will be some updates and hopefully a drop of the release date soon. As for the team, they’re doing fine. As per usual, lots of people having fun with their games. Lastly, Sons of The Forest makes a big splash and is tons of fun for everyone. Is it better than The Forest? I’m not so sure, but we’ll see once we’ve finished it.
