Minecraft

Hello and welcome to our lovely weekly news blog! I’ve been gone for a hot minute, but now I’m back! With that being said, let’s just hop right into the news. We have a decent batch, and I’m glad to give you the deets.

The Wild Update 1.19

Minecraft butts in with a (mostly) finished 1.19 The Wild Update! Now on pre release 5, 1.19 has fully concluded all of the content it plans to add and is now focusing on bug fixes and quality of life. Hundreds of bug fixes and changes have been going into making 1.19 as best as it can possibly be. I would like to say more, but there isn’t really anything else to go over. The update has released, and it is epic.

Team News

I’m back! Let’s see how the team has been.

Kevin – Kevin has decided that V Rising is the greatest game since Elden Ring. That isn’t that big of a timeframe, but I’m sure it’s a good game.

Santiago – Santiago missed me, and he plans on buying a 3080. How sweet.

Geri K – 1.19 hype is real, or so Geri says.

Lloyd – Lloyd is unironically getting into Battlefield 2042. He actually likes it. The absolute psycho.

Octavio– Octavio got a new keyboard and mouse, finally something cool to work with. He’s also been playing phasmophobia lately, and has not died a single time. Yeah, sounds legit.

Rust

Rust comes in with a brand new update this month, the combat update! Tons of new features have been added for the sake of improving combat, as well as some extra bits to further develop the rail network.

Rust Combat Update

Recoil has now been updated. Hit markers, directional hit markers, hit punch, and more have been added to provide the player with as much proper feedback as necessary. A crosshair was also included to allow the player to aim properly. A new weapon in the form of the Handmade LMG has been added, and it will definitely pack a punch. Maybe now not everyone will use the AK? Extended Magazines, Spray Can decals, and more have been added. This on top of numerous improvements, bug fixes, and tweaks concludes the update.

Conclusion

Well, that’s the week! Minecraft 1.19 is finally here, and I can’t wait to start playing it myself. The Apex team is also doing fine as ever. Even though I was gone, they didn’t seem to miss me much…joking! They missed me terribly! Rust also had a great update, improving the PvP even further with quality of life changes. Overall, it was a great week and I can’t wait until the next one!
