Minecraft

Good morning and welcome to our weekly news blog! Can you believe it? We have been reporting and everything great and beautiful in the Apex world for one hundred blogs! This is a great achievement, but I’ll save that for the later portion of this blog. For now, let’s just move on to Minecraft news.

Minecraft Preview 1.19.0.31

Minecraft 1.19 Preview 1.19.0.31 has brought some new features. Spectator Mode has been revamped! Now, spectator mode movement is much more smooth and fast! The new mode feels much more polished and enjoyable to use compared to the last one, so great job, Mojang! On Java Edition, you can open containers and view their contents as a spectator, but that has not yet added on Bedrock Edition. Unfortunately, there are also a few bugs and issues with the functionality. I’m sure that in the next Bedrock preview these issues will be fixed. Next, the Warden will now grant the darkness effect every six seconds as long as the player is in survival mode. The AI for the Warden on Bedrock Edition is generally unpolished, and it needs lots of work. Besides the fact it always prioritizes the player, it doesn’t have lots of work done regarding other entities. Further on, sensors. Sculk sensors don’t detect arrows or boats if used on wool. Also, sensors can now be waterlogged. These changes along with numerous bug fixes concludes the preview.

100 Blogs!

Can you believe it? Besides this blog here, I’ve put in 99 different blogs filled with tons of interesting news, updates, changelogs, and more. One hundred times we have published this lovely, packaged information for all of you clients, and it has been amazing. I love the company that I work at, the people that I work with, and the content that I write. I am glad to be a part of Apex Hosting, and I hope that I can continue to provide this lovely content for everyone.

A lot has changed since our first weekly blog. Since then, we have expanded our game library massively. Twelve times, to be exact. We have expanded and improved on the content we create for all of you, making hundred upon thousands of tutorials, animations, blogs, reviews, and more on our youtube channel and social media profiles. We will continue to grow and provide for our customers because we truly believe in ourselves, and we know that Apex Hosting is the best server hosting company. To a hundred weekly blogs!

Community Spotlight

Been a while since we’ve done one of these. Today, I would like to showcase Charlie’s MMORPG Minecraft server that places a heavy emphasis on the old-school PvP hack and slash survival gameplay. The map of this server is actually based on a twenty-year-old RPG game called ‘Asherons Call’ which has never been created before.

8bitAC Dynmap

The server, 8bitAC is currently being worked on by Charlie and a dozen others, and has been worked on for over two years! They have done their best to not rush the process, and to ensure a level of quality above everything else. The project is expected to have a playable version of the server by the end of the year, and that’s intense! Best of luck to the 8bitAC.

Conclusion

Well, that’s the week! And what a week it was. Minecraft has updated with a Bedrock preview, and it looks pretty good. Regarding the hundredth weekly blog, what a lovely stretch of time it has been. Over a hundred weeks working for Apex, and I’m still not bored! I don’t plan on going anywhere, and I’m incredibly thankful to be a part of this epic company. Lastly, the community spotlight showcases an awesome RPG project, 8bitAC. And that project is massive! In any case, I hope you enjoyed this landmark of a blog, and have a great day.
