How to Use RocketMod Commands on an Unturned Server

When playing on an Unturned server, you may find yourself in need of performing additional commands that the base game does not provide. Thankfully RocketMod, a plugin loader for Unturned, provides additional commands upon installation. Whether this is used to become invincible, vanish from other players, or moderate your server, this can all be achieved with RocketMod commands. Using RocketMod commands can be confusing for unfamiliar players, so we have created this Apex Hosting guide to ease you through the setup process.
Using Commands In-Game
Before starting with commands, you must ensure that your player has been set as an admin.
To use commands in-game, join your Unturned server. Once joined, simply press the
Enter button to open the chat bar. You can now enter commands starting with a
RocketMod Command List
/compass - Displays the direction faced. /effect [effect id] - Spawns Unturned effect. /home - Teleports you to your most recently placed bed.
/admin [player] - Adds a specified player to the admin list. /broadcast [message] - Broadcasts a message to the server. /exit - Disconnects you from the server. /god - Toggles god mode for invincibility. /heal [player] - Heals a specified player or yourself. /help- Shows help information. /i [item] [amount] - Provides an amount of an item. /item [item] [amount] - Provides an amount of an item. /more - Gives more of an item. /tp [player] - Teleports you to a given player. /tphere [player] - Teleports a given player to you. /unadmin [player] - Removes a specified player from the admin list. /vanish - Toggles invisibility to other players. /v [vehicle] - Spawns a vehicle.
Server Information Commands
/investigate [player] - Displays a player's SteamID64 number. /p [player] - Shows your permissions or the permissions of others. /p reload - Reloads the permissions. /p [add | remove] [player] [group] - Add / remove player to group. /rocket reload [plugin] - Reloading Rocket or individual plugins.
RocketMod commands aren’t recognized:
Oftentimes, this means that RocketMod is not loaded up properly. By default it should pre-load with your server, but you may need to ensure it is manually deployed by the server. To do this, visit the
Customizations tab and make sure
Unturned OpenMod is checked. Otherwise, you can follow our RocketMod installation guide here.
I don’t have permission to use commands:
In order to use RocketMod commands, you must ensure that your player is set as an admin in-game. To do this, visit the
Config Files tab and open the
Commands.dat file. On there, type in
Cheats Enabled on an empty line, followed by
Owner [YourSteamID64Here] on another line. Replace the SteamID64 with your own from here. Once done, restart the server and try again.
