This is an organized list compiling the version updates for Minecraft, plugins, mods, gametypes, and proxies for August 12th. Tons of updates and additions to our favorite pastime, from incessant bug fixing to new mods. You’re sure to not get bored with all these updates.
First, the Mod Packs. All the Mods 5 decides to be mild today, updating their mods and changing the forge version. Quality of life never hurt anyone, that’s what I say! In contrast, All the Mods 6 decided they would like to blow me away, so they added more mods. A lot more. It even changed the forge version to be like its brother. Enigmatica 6 adds half a dozen mods, fixes a lot of bugs, and changes some balancing. That’s a lot to swallow! FTB Interactions updates its mods, while changing some crafting recipes for balancing. No new additions, but like I’ve said before, quality of life never hurt anybody. Valhelsia 2 adds a few mods while removing another, on top of updating everything that stays. Uncannily, Valhelsia 3 follows in 2’s footsteps, adding a few mods and releasing another into the wild. RIP to whoever liked Polymorph.
Next, the proxies. BungeeCord just adds support for the newest version of Minecraft. Waterfall adds temporary support for the same category.
Now, a single Mod Based. Forge 1.16.1 just offers a quick fix to an issue.
Onward, to Bedrock! Nukkit decides to follow the theme of the party, updating to support the latest Minecraft version. Pocketmine follows suit, adding support along with removing compatibility with an older version. Bedrock Dedicated Servers just saw a normal software update.
Almost finished, we have Plugin Based. Paper 1.15 adds some optimizations found in newer versions, limits server loading in newer world generations. Paper 1.16 makes a small change to player saving. Spigot updates to the latest version. Tuinity 1.16 makes a small technical change with lighting and chunks. Tuinity 1.15 updates the upstream for Paper.
Finally, Vanilla updates to 1.16.2. Long awaited, after tons of pre-updates and snapshots we receive our long awaited update. A new mob to bloat, along with plenty of bug fixes. If you’re looking for a snapshot, there is none. Sorry!
That’s all we’ve got for you now. With that lengthy list, have a great day.
