Minecon Live is just around the corner and we have a feeling this year is going to be a big year for announcements as it marks the 10 year anniversary of Minecraft’s release! We fully expect to hear more about Minecraft Earth, the next major update for Bedrock and Java editions and finally Minecraft:Dungeons!

Vote for the next Biome Update!

Mojang has already started off with some big news as they allowing everyone to vote on which biome is getting the next major update! We got you covered as to what all we currently know is new for each biome so let’s take a look.

Swamp:

• Boats with chests
• Frogs
• Mangrove trees

 

Mountains:

• “Snowier” snow
• Goats
• Upgraded Mountains with jagged cliffs, snow capped peaks and dramatic views

 

Badlands:

• Tumbleweed
• New cactus with prickly pears
• Vultures (they will steal your loot!)

 

This is all we know about them for now but more will be announced during Minecon Live so be sure to cast your vote during the live stream!
