As you play through a Minecraft Server, many players enjoy building in elevated areas such as mountains. Alongside this, many choose to construct bridges to navigate the heights safely, but vanilla blocks are often not considered detailed enough. This leads players to turn towards mods to provide a higher quality build experience. Introducing Macaw’s Bridges, a simple mod that adds many new bridges of various materials to your game. From rope bridges to rails, there are tons of possibilities and combinations to choose from. Installing mods is streamlined with our Apex Hosting panel uploader, so we have created this tutorial to help you get started.

Once you spawn into your Minecraft world, you can begin creating and placing the new bridges. There are many types to choose from with many different materials used for each one.
The most simplistic version, the basic bridge has railings and a solid base. These are great options for a more civilized approach and for wider bridges.
Similar to the normal bridges, the rope bridges are a more simplistic design, featuring wooden beams and ropes. This is a great option if you are going for the wilderness theme.
As the name implies, the rail bridge is primarily designed for the use of rails. The bridge itself features many support beams which add more realism to its functionality.
Aside from rope bridges, most structures will not float in midair and will need additional support. The support beams allow you to place your bridges up high with style.
When creating your bridges, you will likely need to work with multiple levels. Whether you are connecting multiple structures or making an end point, bridge stairs help you out.
Instead of plain old wood, stone variations such as sandstone, bricks, and deepslate are also available for use. Stairs, supports, and bridges are all available for use.
When placing bridges that are two or more blocks wide, you may notice that the ends are enclosed, leaving no pathway to access the bridge. By combining two iron ingots with three iron nuggets, you can craft the pliers. Simply right-click the ends of a bridge to open an entrance gap.
Following that, you now know how to install Macaw’s Bridges and have information on each of the different bridge types available to you. While the mod itself is quite simple, there are tons of options to work with to customize your experience. Create large rail systems, connect mountains, or just make fancy walkways on the ground. Whatever you decide to do, Macaw’s Bridges has you covered. With this in mind, you are ready to jump right into the action and start creating the bridges you’ve always dreamed of!
